Marcia Philips, Executive Director:  The Advocacy Center employs one part time Executive Director, who meets with clients, church and business leaders, interfaces with other collaborative non-profits in the community, promotes the Advocacy Center at community gatherings, coordinates with board member working committees and is generally the face of the Advocacy Center.  Marcia has deep family roots here in Davie County.  She has been a teacher and in ministry with her husband Bill for many years around the world before becoming passionate about reducing homelessness here.  She loves being a historian and author as well as mom of four and grandma of three awesome grandsons.
